Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the Cory service provided by Keepgoing Inc. (the "Company"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

① "Service" means the AI-based English conversation learning service provided by the Company. ② "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service. ③ "Member" means a person who has registered by providing personal information to the Company. ④ "Content" means all information provided within the Service, including text, voice and images. ⑤ "Paid Member" means a Member who subscribes to a paid plan and pays the set fee. ⑥ "Free Member" means a Member who uses the free service without subscribing to a paid plan.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

① These Terms apply to all users who wish to use the Service. ② The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws. ③ When amending the Terms, the Company will post the effective date, the amended content and the reason within the Service at least 7 days before the effective date. ④ A user who does not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw.

Article 4 (Provision of the Service)

① The Company provides the following services: - AI-based English conversation practice - AI real-time call learning - Scheduled call learning - Learning records and feedback - Other services determined by the Company ② The Service is, in principle, provided 24 hours a day, year-round. However, it may be temporarily suspended for system maintenance. ③ The Company will give prior notice of changes to the content, method or hours of the Service. ④ A minor under 18 requires the consent of a legal representative to use paid services.

Article 5 (Membership Registration)

① A user applies for membership by entering member information in the form set by the Company and indicating agreement to these Terms. ② The Company registers the applicant as a member unless any of the following applies: - The applicant has previously lost membership under these Terms - The registration contains false information, omissions or errors - Registration is deemed to cause significant technical difficulty for the Company

Article 6 (User Obligations)

Users must not: ① Misappropriate others' information ② Interfere with the operation of the Service ③ Use the Service for acts prohibited by law or these Terms, or contrary to public order and morals ④ Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of the Company or third parties ⑤ Transmit obscene or violent messages or other information contrary to public order and morals ⑥ Reproduce, distribute or publish information obtained through the Service without the Company's prior consent ⑦ Transmit information that may disrupt the stable operation of the Service ⑧ Use the Service via automated scripts or bots ⑨ Resell or provide the Service to third parties for commercial purposes

Article 7 (Restriction and Suspension of Use)

① The Company may restrict or suspend use of the Service in the following cases: - Unavoidable circumstances such as maintenance of service facilities - Suspension of telecommunications service by a telecommunications carrier - Disruption to normal service due to national emergency, power failure, facility failure or traffic surge - The user violates these Terms - Abnormal usage patterns that significantly disrupt normal operation are detected - Other force majeure events ② In the event of suspension, the Company will give notice without delay. ③ For free services, the Company may limit usage time or frequency to ensure stable operation.

Article 8 (Paid Services and Fees)

① The Company may provide some services for a fee. ② The types and fees of paid services can be checked on the in-app purchase page. ③ Fees and plan details may change at the Company's discretion. Changes will be announced in advance within the Service. ④ Payment for paid services is made through app stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. ⑤ The usage scope provided to Free Members (such as usage time or frequency) is as announced within the app.

Article 9 (Auto-Renewal and Cancellation)

① Paid services automatically renew at the end of the term unless the user completes the cancellation procedure. ② Monthly plans renew every month and annual plans every year at the same fee. ③ To stop auto-renewal, the user must complete cancellation in the settings of the app store in use (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) at least 24 hours before the end of the term. ④ After cancellation, the Service can still be used during the already-paid term. ⑤ How to cancel: - iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Cory > Cancel Subscription - Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Cory > Cancel Subscription

Article 10 (Refund Policy)

① Refunds for paid services follow the policies of each app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and applicable laws. ② For refunds, please contact each app store directly. - Apple App Store: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084 - Google Play Store: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637 ③ Refunds may be limited in the following cases: - Refund requests after substantial use of the paid service - Use restricted due to the user's violation of the Terms - Other cases where a refund is not granted under app store policy or applicable law ④ If the Service cannot be provided due to the Company's fault, such as a system failure, the Company will refund the corresponding fee on a pro-rata basis or extend the usage period.

Article 11 (Changes to Service Content)

① The Company may change the content of the Service to improve quality. ② Material changes will be announced within the Service at least 30 days in advance. ③ The content of free services (usage time, frequency, etc.) may change without prior notice at the Company's discretion.

Article 12 (Intellectual Property)

① Copyright and other intellectual property rights in all content provided by the Service belong to the Company. ② Users must not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution or broadcasting, or allow third parties to do so, without the Company's prior consent.

Article 13 (Disclaimer)

① The Company is exempt from responsibility for providing the Service in cases of force majeure such as natural disasters or war. ② The Company is not responsible for service disruptions caused by the user's fault. ③ The Company is not responsible for users failing to obtain expected profits through the Service. ④ Due to the nature of AI services, the accuracy of the information provided is not guaranteed 100%, and the Company is not responsible for resulting damages. ⑤ The Company is not responsible for disputes between users or between a user and a third party.

Article 14 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Company strives to protect users' personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The protection and use of personal information are governed by applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)

① If a dispute arises regarding use of the Service, the parties will resolve it amicably through consultation. ② If consultation fails, the matter will follow dispute resolution procedures under applicable law. ③ The court of jurisdiction for any lawsuit relating to these Terms shall be the Tokyo District Court.
